We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is essential in ensuring that all guest areas are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.

Duties

Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Train, supervise, and manage housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established protocols. Develop and implement cleaning schedules for all areas of the property, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints. Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning processes, and janitorial practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; custodial experience is also valuable. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
