Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel operations and janitorial services, ensuring that all guest areas are impeccably presented and that our team operates efficiently.

Duties



Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimise efficiency while accommodating guest needs. Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the hotel.

Requirements



Previous experience in a nursing home environment is essential, with a strong understanding of the required cleaning standards. Proven janitorial experience, demonstrating knowledge of cleaning techniques and products. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development and motivation. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.
