The award-winning spa offers a tranquil escape with various treatments, while the leisure centre features a 40ft indoor pool and a gym. Each of our 116 bedrooms, from standard to executive, are designed for comfort and style, with many boasting breathtaking views of the sea. We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us as Housekeeping Supervisor.

Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance standards across the whole hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. Previous hotel experience and a background in hospitality is highly desirable.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Support the Housekeeping Managing with department admin such as payroll, compliance and health & safety. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with company policies and hygiene standards. Train new staff members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain operational efficiency. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues related to cleanliness or service quality. Develop work schedules that optimise staffing levels while accommodating peak periods and special events. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the hotel.

Skills



Proven experience in hotel housekeeping within the hospitality sector. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional approach to guest interactions. Computer literate Knowledge of UK health & safety standards. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational needs.
