Your Role: Reporting into the Director of Digital Operations, this is a critical role in ensuring theefficient delivery and success of advertising campaigns, while also contributing to Octave's growthand innovation in the digital advertising space. The role requires a strong mix of leadership skills,technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem.The role will work across multiple digital products and all of News Broadcasting brands includingtalkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio and Talk.
Day to day you will:
Lead and maintain a high performing ad-ops team in a fast-paced environment
Provide technical support and guidance to the team on ad-tagging and adserving solutions
Oversee end to end campaign management of digital audio ad campaigns, including bothinstream and podcasts
Identify and implement ad tech solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Manage technology partner integrations and onboard of new products in the ad server
Keep abreast of industry standards, regulations and policies and ensure we remain fullycompliant
Work closely with the Head of Data to ensure audience targeting capabilities are mappedcorrectly in the adserver
Work closely with the programmatic stakeholders to manage prioritisation of programmatic anddirect campaigns
Ensure campaigns meet performance benchmarks and client expectations
Manage multiple inventory streams, including the technical on-boarding and connections of newinventory
Work closely with the Head of Insights & Billing to manage all bookings through the OMS
Manage and maintain the company Ad formats/specs, Allowlists & Advertising Policiesdocumentation
Troubleshoot new formats/products in BETA testing and provide feedback to senior stakeholders
What we're looking for from you:
You have a desire to learn and grow within the role.
Strong Experience in Ad Operations
Strong understanding of DSP's/SSP's & programmatic ecosystem
Expert in campaign management and operational excellence
Proficient with Adswizz' adserver Audioserve preferred
Experience with creative delivery systems e.g. JET etc
Analytical thinker, ability to spot trends and opportunities through data
Outcome-oriented strategic thinker with a creative, pragmatic and insights-driven approachto decision-making and problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues to multipleaudiences/skillsets
Outstanding ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and competing demands
