In this role, you will:
Be accountable for all workshop, front-of-house service, and parts department staff by managing performance through effective coaching and leadership.
Plan, forecast, and budget to consistently achieve departmental targets.
Recruit and onboard Service team members efficiently and effectively.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain compliance with Volkswagen brand standards.
Identify and maximise commercial opportunities through targeted campaigns.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment for all staff.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a proven track record in a main dealer environment, with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager.
Be confident managing large teams in a high-volume environment.
Be experienced in building strong teams and driving high levels of customer satisfaction.
Have a proactive approach to addressing performance issues and developing staff.
Demonstrate a history of exceeding performance targets through team motivation and leadership.
Be an energetic and inspirational leader with strong coaching skills.
Have financial awareness and competence in interpreting management accounts.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
