Overview:

We are supporting a leading law firm in the South West as they expand their specialist offering. With a strong presence in Dorset and the wider West Country, the firm is now looking to establish a dedicated Agriculture team and is seeking an experienced Partner to lead this exciting new practice.

What you'll be doing:

Build and lead a new Agriculture practice, shaping its strategy and growth. Develop strong client relationships across farming, land management, and rural business sectors. Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated services while maintaining a "one firm" ethos. Drive business development initiatives, identifying opportunities and expanding the firm's reach in the agricultural sector. Mentor and support junior lawyers, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development. Represent the firm externally, strengthening its reputation in the regional agriculture and rural economy.

About you:

Experienced Partner or Senior Lawyer with a proven track record in agricultural law. Strong knowledge of farming, land, and rural business issues. Commercially minded, with the ability to win new work and grow a client base. Collaborative leader who thrives in building teams and supporting colleagues. Entrepreneurial spirit, excited by the challenge of establishing a new practice area.

Pay: 70,000.00-90,000.00 per year
