Head of AI Solutions

Lithia UK, Hybrid (must be able to commute to Milton Keynes & Nottingham)

Your Journey as a Head of AI Solutions:

Evaluate business processes, operational challenges and customer journeys to uncover high-impact AI opportunities Work with leaders across the business to shape and prioritise an AI roadmap aligned with our strategic goals Conduct feasibility assessments and ROI analysis to ensure we invest where AI delivers measurable value Stay ahead of emerging AI tools, platforms and partner capabilities to recommend future-fit solutions Act as the solution architect for AI programmes, ensuring chosen tools meet business, technical and governance requirements Collaborate with AI engineers, internal technology teams and external partners to guide design and deployment Oversee project timelines, delivery milestones and stakeholder communications from idea to implementation Monitor performance of deployed solutions and recommend ongoing enhancements, ensuring continuous optimisation Champion AI across Lithia UK -- promoting awareness, encouraging adoption and helping teams understand how AI can support their goals Present compelling business cases to senior leaders to secure investment and support Provide training, guidance and practical advice to help teams use AI tools confidently and responsibly Ensure all AI activity is compliant with company governance, policies and ethical standards

Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We're looking for someone who has:

Proven experience in AI strategy, solution design or technology consulting -- ideally within a complex, multi-site organisation A strong understanding of AI concepts (machine learning, NLP, generative AI, automation) and how they're applied to real business environments Experience evaluating and selecting AI tools, platforms and vendors A strategic mindset, with the ability to translate challenges into clear, compelling AI use cases Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders using insight, data and logical reasoning Excellent communication skills -- able to make AI understandable, engaging and relevant to different audiences Strong project management capability, with a track record of delivering transformation programmes Working knowledge of AI platforms such as Azure Machine Learning, OpenAI, Hugging Face or similar tools An understanding of AI ethics, governance and responsible deployment A proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies
