About The Company
Our client is a PE backed, global adtech company with their own proprietary tech. Already well established and continuing to grow, they operate with an open and flexible approach, and are highly driven by innovation.
About The Role
They are now seeking a Head of Architecture, reporting in to the CTO and managing a team of engineers to help scale their tech rapidly and securely. Key responsibilities include:

Enhancing performance of the key components of the adtech platform
Architecting new AI and Data Science based features and SDKs for app integrations
Improving reliability, long-term maintainability, scalability and fault tolerance
Ensuring compliance with good engineering and deployment processes and procedures
Coaching engineering team and code reviews

This is a highly collaborative role, working with the wider data, product and devops teams.
About You
We are looking for someone with extensive seniority in software engineering, the last several years of which have been in system architecture, in the adtech world. Your key skills will include:

Go, Node.js, Python, Java backend languages
Javascript Typescript frontend languages
React, React Native frameworks
Cloud hosting architecture, including load balancing, failover, auto scaling
Big data architecture
Observability tools ( Datadog, OpenTelemetry, etc)
Programmatic, RTB, pre-bidding, DSPs, SSPs, and/or ad-serving

What's On Offer
Our client is offering a generous six figure salary, 26 days annual leave, private healthcare and employer matched pension to 3%. Performance based options are also available for this role.
The role is hybrid, with 1 day a week in their London office, ideally, but there is flexibility around this also for the right person.
