We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational leader to join our large, successful secondary school as Head of Art & Design and Design Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a thriving and highly successful department and shape the creative and technical education of our students. We currently offer at GCSE, AQA Fine Art, Graphic Communication, Textiles Design. We also offer Photography, DT and WJEC Hospitality and Catering and Level 1 BTEC Home Cooking Skills and AQA DT Unit award. There are currently 9 teaching staff and 3 technicians in the department.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for DT and Art & Design
• Drive high standards of teaching and learning across both subjects
• Inspire and motivate staff and students to achieve excellence
• Develop an innovative curriculum that prepares students for future success
