We are seeking an experienced Head of Bid Management with a proven track record of successfully securing contracts and frameworks on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
What you'll be doing: This is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer and forming part of the Growth Management Leadership Team. You'll work closely with our COO, Regional Directors, Commercial Director, and external partners to shape and deliver our bid strategy - ensuring we continue to win and retain key contracts and frameworks. o Lead and inspire the bid team to deliver high-quality, winning submissions across PQQs, ITTs, and BAFOs. o Oversee the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to submission and post-bid analysis. o Develop and implement bid strategies aligned with our growth objectives. o Manage the bid/no-bid process, ensuring resources are focused on the most promising opportunities. o Coordinate internal and external contributors to produce compelling, compliant, and commercially sound proposals. o Maintain and enhance our bid library to streamline future submissions and improve efficiency. o Monitor tender portals and client communications to identify new opportunities and forecast future revenue. o Track and analyse bid performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. o Manage the bid team budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
