About the Role:

We are looking for a

strategic and hands-on Head of Branch

to lead all operational, commercial, and administrative activities at our location. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced professional with a background in

freight forwarding and branch management

. Your mission will be to drive efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all functions of the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the branch's day-to-day operations, including sales, logistics, customer service, and admin. Ensure efficient execution of freight forwarding activities (road, sea, air, or multimodal). Drive business growth by acquiring new customers and strengthening relationships with existing clients. Oversee branch P&L, budget planning, and financial performance. Develop and implement a commercial strategy aligned with company goals. Build, train, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team. Track KPIs and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality. Represent the company in meetings with key partners, vendors, and clients. Ensure full compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum

5 years of experience in freight

forwarding or logistics

(required). Minimum

3 years of experience managing a branch or business unit

(preferred). Strong leadership and people management skills. Solid understanding of logistics workflows and freight operations. Commercially driven with proven business development capabilities. Advanced negotiation and communication skills. Experience with budgeting, cost control, and P&L responsibility.
