Job Summary:
Responsible for driving the Group Head of Cyber Risks' strategic agenda. Working closely with the Cyber Risks Management Team to develop strategic programmes and support the implementation of Cyber's key initiatives and deliverables. To organize ideas, projects, people, time, and resources necessary to keep things moving forward. To co-manage the logistics associated with running the Cyber Risks team and implementing new strategies to improve efficiency.
Oversee relationships with centralised functions and underwriting teams, coordinating with them on project and business planning. Manage a team of Project Managers and Business Managers. Active member of the Cyber Risks Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist the Group Head of Cyber Risks in the delivery of their key responsibilities, covering all aspects including business planning, projects, resources and business processes.
To support the execution of the Cyber Risks strategy
Spearhead and lead large scale organisational shifts like rapid growth or decreasing turnaround times, etc.
To identify and organise ideas, projects, people, time, and resources necessary to keep things moving forward.
Oversee relationships with centralised functions and underwriting teams, coordinating with them on project and business planning.
Supporting with transformation and change management processes as required
Assist with -
+ development and implementation of business strategies.
+ delivery on key projects
+ planning, direction, co-ordination and maintaining business objectives; and target OKRs and KPIs.
+ ensuring compliance with all relevant company, regulatory and legal requirements. Aid in the execution, management and revision of the business plan
Supporting Group Head of Cyber Risks with forward planning, addressing key meetings and document production.
Managing and performing ad hoc projects as required.
Production of reports to the trading and executive committees.
Represent Cyber Risks at relevant committees.
Responsible for the business processes to support policy development and decision making.
Oversee the governance, control, performance monitoring and project work of the Cyber Risks team
Provide leadership, direction and support to direct reports as per org chart.
Ensure that all employees have the knowledge, skills and support (including mentoring and coaching) necessary to perform effectively in their given roles and responsibilities.
Member of Cyber Risks Management Team
The management team has responsibility over all aspects of the Cyber Risks division. Its specific responsibilities include -Strategic direction of Cyber Risks underwriting.
The underwriting performance and profit & loss.
Design and execution of annual and medium term business plans
Expenses.
Cycle management.
Risk management / safety net.
New product development, in partnership with cross functional management team.
Broker relationship, in partnership with broker relations and other underwriting teams.
This role will be responsible for supporting and driving the team to deliver on all aspects above.
Management Team Governance
Responsible for coordination and facilitation of management team governance activities.
Coordinate and prepare agendas for management team meetings, team workshops/events, and facilitate strategy/planning sessions as necessary.
Work closely with the Cyber Risks Management Team and other partners to support and provide project management for special projects
Action tracking and follow-up.
Key contributor to the business plan by providing data which identifies internal strengths and weaknesses, external industry and market data, and potential issues that need to be addressed.
Ensuring Team meets all requests of Group committees and boards.
With the other Management team members, act as a link between Cyber Risks and the shared service teams in the rest of the Group.
