An exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to join the dynamic Sourcebooks UK team.
We are seeking a positive, highly organised self-starter with proven senior level campaigns experience within publishing as well as experience leading a team.
Heading up the Sourcebooks UK Campaigns team, you will be creating and driving the strategy for ensuring this exciting and growing list connects with its audiences across a range of genres. An excellent manager with a proven track record of leading a team and developing standalone as well as wider brand campaigns, you will thrive on working in a busy team publishing across a wide range of genres. You will have excellent communication skills and prioritise both internal and external relationships ensuring all key stakeholders across this international business are kept abreast of developments and plans at all times.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading high level brand campaigns and will bring creativity and excellent consumer insight to the role. You will work closely with the Group Marketing and Communications Director and colleagues across the divisions both in the UK and US to drive sales, build awareness for the Sourcebooks UK list, and connect authors with their audiences.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Group Marketing and Communications Director, you will lead the Sourcebooks UK Campaign team and line manage a Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive
Create and oversee the delivery of the UK campaign strategy for Sourcebooks UK
Create and oversee or personally implement brand strategies for some of the biggest names on the list
Create and deliver the publicity strategy for the entire list
Direct and manage freelancers working on campaigns across the list
Oversee delivery of effective social media and digital marketing strategy
Oversee the planning and creation all consumer and trade marketing activity across the list
Create and deliver regular presentations to key internal stakeholders across the business and externally where appropriate
Deliver high profile publicity campaigns on lead titles
Evaluate and report to the business on campaign activity
Liaise closely with our US counterparts
Constantly be looking for ways to work more efficiently and effectively, identifying the need for and implementing new systems and processes where appropriate
Manage the marketing budget including reviews and reforecasting
Work closely with your colleagues across the wider DK Marketing and Communications team exploring and creating opportunities for collaboration
