What's the role about?




As our Head of Care Homes Division, you'll take end-to-end responsibility for driving growth and performance. You'll define the strategy, lead high-level stakeholder relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of our care home proposition. This is a senior leadership position with full ownership of results and impact--spanning sales, operations, people, and innovation.

What you'll be doing:



Setting Strategy:

Define and deliver a growth strategy for the Care Homes Division that aligns with organisational goals and industry trends.

Driving Commercial Performance:

Own and manage the division's P&L, ensuring strong financial health through business development, client retention, and operational efficiency.

Leading High-Performing Teams:

Inspire, mentor, and develop teams at all levels, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

Building Strategic Partnerships:

Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry bodies.

Overseeing Key Operations:

Lead on tenders, contracts, onboarding processes, and service innovation, ensuring exceptional standards and outcomes.

Representing the Division:

Be a visible and credible ambassador at industry events, roundtables, and forums--positioning our brand as a sector leader.

Monitoring KPIs and Insights:

Use data to inform decisions, forecast trends, and report on performance to the Executive Team.

Championing Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal departments (HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing) to deliver seamless client solutions.

What we're looking for:



Proven experience in a senior business development or sales role Strong background in catering, food production, or service delivery A "hunter" mentality with a track record of winning new business First-class communication, negotiation, and presentation skills A hands-on leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams Commercially confident with strong financial acumen and contract negotiation skills A confident project manager who can juggle priorities and hit deadlines A strong track record of strategic planning, revenue growth, and team leadership Proven ability to lead change, build trust, and manage complexity Comfortable working in the field, building relationships face-to-face A clean driving licence and flexible working approach
