Head of Centre

to work as part of our College Nursery Management Team. Our Nursery Manager manages both campus nurseries and we are recruiting a Head of Centre to lead our busy nursery at

Anniesland Campus

, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Work a part of the Nursery Management Team to ensure excellent service delivery to our children, parents, carers and stakeholders Lead and motivate a team to deliver a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment Manage day-to-day operations, rotas, and performance, ensuring quality compliance with Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland standards Drive continuous improvement using How Good is our Early Learning and Childcare and Realising the Ambitionframeworks Ensure educational planning and delivery meets individual needs, supporting staff in inclusive, child-centred practice Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring clear communication and meaningful involvement

About You:

Hold, or are working towards, a BA in Childhood Practice (SCQF Level 9) or equivalent Have experience in supervising early years staff and delivering the 3-5 curriculum A confident communicator with excellent problem-solving, advocacy, and leadership skills Committed to professional development and creating a positive, collaborative environment
