Job Description

My client is a fast-growth Fintech in the Payments space. This is an exciting time to join them with them reaching profitability and launching new products.



They are looking for a hands on and strategic Head of Client Delivery to join them to help shape their new BaaS offering. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a pivotal role responsible for designing and executing complex, cross-functional deals and programs that drive scalable growth. From pre-sales engagement to implementation and ongoing optimization, you will collaborate across teams to align deal structures, streamline processes, and build capabilities that support long-term business success.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Sales Support & Strategic Input




Act as a subject matter expert in the sales cycle, partnering with Business Development to scope and shape complex deals. Provide expertise on implementation pathways, risk frameworks, and value realization to prospective clients

2. Deal Implementation & Cross-Functional Execution




Lead the end-to-end implementation of complex commercial programs involving multiple stakeholders and contractual frameworks. Partner with finance, legal, risk, and commercial teams to structure and execute deals across diverse legal and risk models. Oversee scheme development and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs across ATM and Acquiring

3. Technical & Operational Integration




Work closely with technical and product teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions. Translate commercial and operational requirements into scalable technical delivery plans.

4. Process Optimisation




Design and implement scalable operating models and automate core processes to support growth and efficiency. Own governance and execution frameworks for long-term program success
#

5. Lead the complex program and implementation team




Take on existing headcount and understand role and responsibilities to replicate and improve Build a team over time as the business grows

Key Requirements:




Proven experience (8+ years) in complex program delivery, commercial operations, or strategic implementation in a B2B or tech-enabled environment. Understanding of legal structures, risk frameworks, and financial models used in complex deal-making. Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience aligning legal, finance, risk, and commercial teams. Experience in process automation, scaling operations, and systems improvement. Comfortable operating in pre-sales environments and supporting commercial teams with client-facing expertise. Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at both the detail and big-picture level. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience leading and building high-performing teams. Experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, or platform businesses. * Program management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
