Overview


HCB is looking to appoint a Head of Clinical Services to work alongside our rapidly expanding team, to lead our growing team of Clinical Case Managers who work on Early Intervention, Occupational Health Case Management and co-ordination of Return-to-Work programmes for employees absent through illness or injury. Services are delivered on behalf of employers or insurers of disability insurance products.

The successful candidate would ideally be an Occupational Therapist, Occupational Health Nurse, or registered Nurse.

The role will be that of full-time employee based out of our Head Office in Wantage, Oxfordshire (hybrid working) but could afford some flexibility around other commitments for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience, some Community Nursing, Mental Health experience or qualifications would be an additional asset (but none are a pre-requisite).

Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies, procedures and competency framework to ensure optimal outcomes and compliance with industry regulations. Lead and manage multidisciplinary clinical teams, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment. Oversee the planning and delivery of clinical programmes, including Safeguarding & Crisis advice, ensuring they meet organisational objectives and quality standards. Monitor clinical team performance metrics, analyse data for continuous improvement, and implement necessary changes. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop strategic plans and clinical pathways that align with organisational goals. Ensure all clinical activities adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate ongoing professional development programmes for clinical staff to maintain high standards of practice. Represent the organisation at external meetings, participate in bids and tenders, attend conferences, and liaise with regulatory bodies where required.

Requirements



Proven management experience within a healthcare or clinical setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively. Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in clinical services. Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Relevant professional qualification in healthcare or related field is essential. Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional care and continuous improvement initiatives. Pay: 42,000.00-50,000.00 per year
