Job summary
We are currently recruiting for a
Head of Collaboration (Data Programmes) - Agriculture
to work on a hybrid basis, two/three days from our HQ in Coventry and the remainder working remotely from home. Flexibility to travel to meetings and conferences across the UK is also essential.
This role has responsibility for leading a number of strategic agriculture industry data projects and systems and will be a key part of driving a culture change across the industry around increased collaboration. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can engage and inspire both executive and junior-level stakeholders to embrace industry collaboration and co-design while developing and executing a comprehensive collaboration strategy that aligns with our goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has extensive experience engaging with a farmer audience as well as with b2b industry stakeholders.

Job description
Be part of a small team leading a key AHDB and industry data project
Develop and execute a comprehensive industry engagement and collaboration strategy, initially targeted around the one or two key cross-industry AHDB digital projects
Work with teams to develop key stakeholder engagement artefacts and approaches
Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the industry
Be a key part of a cultural shift towards improved collaboration and co-design across the industry
Engage and inspire individuals and teams to embrace strategic data projects and data sharing across the industry
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with external organisations, technology stakeholders and industry leaders to service AHDB's wider goals and objectives
Manage a small team of collaboration and engagement specialists, allocating resources effectively to support the overall aims
Take ownership of project communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives to ensure effective visibility and collaboration
Contribute to the development of strategic business plans to support applications for external funding

Person specification
Hold a relevant degree or have significant experience in similar roles, with a strong knowledge of the agricultural industry, across the different sectors
Proven track record of successfully leading collaboration and engagement initiatives
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage AHDB staff and external stakeholders at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience in driving engagement and fostering innovation and collaboration
Experience developing business plan documentation
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate technology delivery for a broad range of audiences
A valid full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel to meetings/conferences across the UK as and when required
