Head of Commercial Property - Swindon

RecQuest is delighted to be partnering with a thriving law firm on a strategic senior hire. We are seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Property to lead, grow, and inspire a high-performing team while delivering exceptional client service across a broad range of commercial property matters.

The Role

This is a pivotal leadership position, offering the chance to shape the future of the firm's commercial property practice in Swindon. You'll combine hands-on fee earning with team leadership and business development responsibilities, ensuring the continued success and growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the commercial property team in Swindon Manage a fee-earning caseload including: Acquisitions, disposals & refinancing Leases and renewals Conditional contracts, option, promotion & development agreements Deeds of easement Commercial leases: negotiation, sub-letting & surrendering Landlord and tenant services Build and nurture a strong network of clients and referrers Work closely with partners to evolve business development strategy and expand the practice
The Person

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional who is ready to step into a senior leadership role:

Qualified solicitor or equivalent with 8+ years' PQE in commercial property Proven leadership and team management experience Strong business development skills with a track record of winning and retaining clients Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach Commitment to risk management, compliance, and ongoing professional development

Pay: 65,000.00-80,000.00 per year
