This isn't a general marketing job. It's for a comms expert - someone who knows what to say, when to say it, and how to get it heard; internally and externally.


As our Head of Communications, you'll reshape and deliver how we communicate with potential and existing parents/carers, as well as future and internal colleagues. You'll manage reputation, boost our visibility, and make sure our messages land with heart and purpose.

What You'll Be Doing



Be the best writer and our go to comms expert in LEYF Collaborate with teams across LEYF - from nurseries to HR. Building deep relationships across a range of people and disciplines - bringing clarity and kindness to every message PR + Lead our external consumer PR and media strategy to raise awareness among families and future employees
+ Find and grow the right media relationships for where our audiences are
+ Write standout, newsworthy content that lands with warmth and impact
+ Collaborate with our external PR consultant and CEO on brand-level visibility
Parent Comms + Advise on and write parent communications across the business
Internal Comms + Co-create our internal comms strategy but most importantly deliver it
+ Partner with colleagues across the People Team, nurseries and operations to shape strong internal comms
Social Media + Set the social media direction, deploy your editorial expertise across channels, and keep us focused, timely and on message
+ Find and collaborate with suitable influencers
+ Align with our recruitment and occupancy marketing leads to connect campaigns across channels
Crisis Comms & Govt relations + Be the point person in a crisis, with calm, confident response
+ Establish government/media contact relationships and work alongside our PR consultant & CEO to amplify our external voice
Track, measure and analyse our communication tactics & impact
