We're now looking for a seasoned and commercially savvy

Head of Compliance

to lead the charge--someone who can see the big picture while keeping the details watertight.

The Role

This is a mission-critical leadership role for a compliance expert who thrives in fast-paced, cross-jurisdictional environments. As our

Head of Compliance and MLRO

, you'll own the global compliance strategy, ensure we meet (and exceed) our regulatory obligations, and help embed responsible innovation into everything we do.


You'll shape the frameworks that keep us safe, manage our regulatory relationships, and champion responsible play across the business. Oh, and you'll build and lead a top-tier compliance team while you're at it.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the Global Compliance Function

Set the strategy for compliance across all markets--from licensing and AML/CTF to sanctions, advertising standards, and consumer protection.

Be the MLRO

Act as the appointed MLRO, overseeing suspicious activity reporting, internal disclosures, and direct engagement with authorities.

Build the Framework

Design, maintain, and optimise a compliance program that includes policies, procedures, monitoring, training, and reporting.

Champion Responsible Play

Lead our Responsible Play program, embedding ethical standards into product design, marketing, and support.

Grow the Team

Build and scale the compliance team as we grow--ensuring structure, coverage, and capabilities keep up with the pace.

Own Regulatory Relationships

Be the face of compliance to external regulators, licensing bodies, and auditors.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

Work closely with legal, risk, ops, product, and CX to ensure compliance is baked into every business decision.

Stay Ahead of Change

Monitor emerging laws and regs, assess risk impact, and proactively advise stakeholders.

Drive Training & Awareness

Develop and deliver company-wide training on AML, Responsible Play, and conduct risk.

Manage Incidents

Oversee compliance breaches and investigations--owning root cause analysis and remediation.

Strengthen Controls

Ensure robust systems are in place for CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, and record-keeping.

Promote a Compliance Culture

Balance innovation and regulation to help shape a culture of fairness, safety, and accountability.

Leverage Technology

Use automation and compliance tools to drive efficiency, insight, and control.

What You'll Bring

? Extensive experience in compliance, with solid MLRO experience--ideally in gaming, fintech, or a regulated digital business

? Deep expertise in AML/CTF, responsible play, data protection, and conduct risk

? Proven track record leading license applications, audits, and regulatory engagement

? Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (POCA, GDPR, FATF standards, etc.)

? Experience leading Responsible Play or player protection teams

? Leadership chops--you know how to build, coach, and scale a high-performing team

? Collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills

? Pragmatic, commercially minded, and comfortable in grey areas

? Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills (bonus points for compliance tech skills)

? Bonus: ICA, ACAMS, or legal/compliance certifications
