Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, enthusiastic, and ambitious leader to become our Head of Computer Science. You will provide professional leadership and management for the department to secure high-quality teaching, raise attainment and achievement for all pupils, and drive the overall progress of all students in the subject.
You will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the Computer Science Department, including teaching staff.
• Developing and implementing the department's curriculum, policies, and plans.
• Evaluating the quality of teaching and standards of pupil achievement, setting clear targets for improvement.
• Ensuring the effective development of pupilsa?? literacy, numeracy, and information technology skills through the department.
• Managing the departmenta??s capitation budget and resources, including ICT, to ensure maximum efficiency and value for money.
