G3 Systems is seeking an experienced Construction Management professional to lead our active overseas construction programmes and support the development of future construction business opportunities. This pivotal role is part of the G3 Systems Senior Management Team and plays a key role in the continued growth and strategic direction of our Construction division.
The role will carry full responsibility for all construction operations within G3 Systems--ensuring that active projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards and specifications. The position will also contribute to the identification, development, and capture of new construction business opportunities, both in the UK and internationally.

to work on both national and international restricted sites.
Tasks and Duties will include:
Responsibility for all active Construction projects and ensuring that the projects are managed in accordance with the requirements of the NEC4 Engineering & Construction Contract (ECC)
Hold overall accountability for Construction operating expenditure, ensuring programmes are delivered in accordance with client requirements, project timescales and financial constraints.
Membership of the G3 Systems Senior Management team, with the requirement to provide regular status updates on active projects and new opportunity pursuits
Company representative at a senior level for customer, client and subcontractor meetings
Identify and actively pursue organic growth opportunities to drive financial performance and enhance profit margins.
Promote and develop effective client and stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance G3 Systems reputation
Leadership of the Construction Management team to ensure robust, workable economic and deliverable projects are produced, with clear financial reporting instilled across all projects
Proactively monitor and assess potential threats to programme KPIs, providing Senior Management team with timely insights and where appropriate strategic solutions to maintain delivery performance
Oversee Construction department resourcing to ensure the necessary technical skillsets are in place to support project delivery, with robust contingency and succession plans established
Ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained in accordance with programme delivery - complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice and G3 standards.
Responsible for identifying and providing mitigation for risks throughout a project lifecycle, working with Senior Management to ensure risks are identified and managed.
Oversight of the identification of new construction opportunities and involvement in capture and proposal processes, working with Capture Managers and BD.
Provide Health and Safety leadership, promoting behavioural safety improvements, ensuring our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Core Values.
Travel to Construction sites to oversee progress and to meet with customers / subcontractors. Locations will predominantly be challenging and austere.
Location:
Primarily on-site at Osprey Quay, Portland, Dorset, UK, with hybrid working opportunities and required overseas travel as necessary
Qualifications required:
Level 7 NVQ in Construction Senior Management or Degree Qualification in Construction Management
Foundation degree, higher national diploma (HND) or undergraduate degree accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
NEC4 Contract Accreditation
Skills / Experience Required:
Proven and demonstrable experience in an operational and Project Management role within the building/construction/building service industries, ideally at Head of Construction or Project Director level
Demonstrable experience and understanding in the use and application of NEC4 Contracts
Strong leadership and management skills and experience, able to motivate and guide multi-discipline teams based at overseas locations
Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of applicable standards/regulations across multiple locations
Experience in the preparation of tenders and estimates.
Ability to develop a good understanding of customer requirements, whilst able to identify scope creep and compensation events.
Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office, CEMAR, I-Auditor or similar tablet-based quality assurance software.
Excellent people skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
High level organisational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken. Able to demonstrate initiative and problem solve.

Salary starting from 78,500 per annum (based on experience)
