Job Description

Head of Content Marketing at

Pink Elephant

We build and fund fast growing ventures for safe access to psychedelics and progressive mental health care.

Pink Elephant exists to build the companies that will steer the revolution in mental health. Global mental health is an urgent, under-addressed crisis: 1 in 8 people (970M) live with a mental disorder, and depression and anxiety alone cost ~$1T in lost productivity each year. Progressive therapies have been shown to be up to 10 times more effective than conventional treatments, yet only 5% of people can access them. We're here to change that by staking capital on verifiable breakthroughs and assembling founders, clinicians, and operators to turn today's uncommon sessions into tomorrow's standard of care.

One of our strategic products - statesofmind.com - the first EU-focused platform to offer expert-led journalism, science-backed resources, and a vetted directory of providers offering next-generation treatments for mental health.

As a Head of Content Marketing, you will grow our owned media (StatesofMind.com and other projects) by increasing output and creating more viral content that drives leads for our own and partner mental health products. Your focus will be on supporting multiple mental health product launches by producing landing pages, ad creatives, and product marketing materials.

Responsibilities: what you will drive

Define and maintain a unified content policy: topics, formats, quality standards, tone of voice, fact-checking, and compliance with medical/regulatory requirements. Test new formats and evolve the content strategy based on audience insights, SEO performance, geography, and analytics. Ensure alignment across all media products and content channels: website, social media, newsletters, and special projects. Develop and launch interactive content formats: webinars, AMA sessions, public discussions, masterclasses, podcasts, and YouTube initiatives. Set benchmarks and scale the most effective content-driven lead-generation scenarios. Run continuous monitoring of key media and lead generation metrics. Run text-based CRO tests for owned media and product landing pages. Set and track content function KPIs: MAU, CTR, share rate, bounce rate, retention, lead generation, and others.

Experience: what you bring

Deep understanding of content marketing funnels and the difference between formats that drive reach and those that reliably generate leads. Test-and-learn mindset, with most content hypotheses tested within a month. Experience working with both highly regulated and unregulated topics, balancing compliance risks with the need to move fast and avoid legal bottlenecks. Experience in a content "service line" setup, serving 3+ internal stakeholders at once. Ability to find, manage, and develop content specialists, including in specialized (ideally healthcare-adjacent) niches.

In your cover letter

In a few sentences, describe two scalable content marketing funnels that could consistently generate leads for marketplace partners of States of Mind. You can assume you have a paid media budget for these funnels. Tell us about the most effective content marketing funnel you've built, describing the flow and the business results it generated.

Perks: why join us

Build a category-defining mental health platform in a fast-growing, regulated market. Drive real business and patient impact (content leads revenue). Work across a portfolio of products, not just one brand. Operate at the intersection of science, medicine, and growth marketing. Own content as a core growth engine, not a support function. International scope: UK, Germany, Nordics, Europe. High autonomy + fast experimentation environment. * Strong mission-driven work with global relevance.
