As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Operations & Asset Management team with a Head of Control Centre at our Green House Control Centre on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm.


Our Operations and Asset Management team manage 200+ renewable energy sites across the UK and Europe and we're looking for a dynamic

Head of Control Centre

to lead our 24/7 operations hub.


In this role you'll shape the vision, strategy, and growth of our in-house Control Centre including health & safety coordination, grid code compliance, HV support, and performance optimisation. This isn't just an operational role, it's a chance to lead innovation, define commercial strategy, and unlock new revenue streams in the fast-moving world of clean energy.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities include:

Set the strategic direction

for the Control Centre to align with wider business growth.

Own client relationships

and drive new service offerings and commercial opportunities.

Lead grid operations

, acting as the primary interface with the National Electricity System Operator (NESO).

Oversee P&L, budgeting, contracts, and workforce management

.

Drive operational excellence

, safety performance, and continuous improvement in a 24/7 control environment.

Future-proof our tech stack

and lead innovation in automation, integration, and cyber security.

Collaborate cross-functionally

with asset managers, engineers, and commercial teams to deliver best-in-class service.

To be successful in this role you will be a visionary leader with deep knowledge of control room operations, grid code compliance, and commercial strategy. You're equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves in the operations centre or presenting new service roadmaps to clients and partners. Above all, you're driven by purpose and ready to shape the next chapter of clean energy operations.
