Outline of the Job
The
Head of Corporate Services
is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing Zinc's core administrative, operational, and support functions. Reporting to the Director of Group Finance, this role will ensure that our people, systems, and infrastructure align to deliver operational excellence and support our organisational mission. The role oversees HR, IT, facilities, procurement, compliance, ensuring they operate as enablers for Zinc's work.
This role is based in London (hybrid working), though we are open to fully remote candidates

What You'll Be Doing
Provide strategic leadership across corporate services, ensuring HR, IT, facilities, and procurement effectively and efficiently.
Lead HR strategy, covering recruitment, staff engagement, performance management, wellbeing, and policy development.
Oversee IT infrastructure and systems, including cybersecurity, data protection, and tech support, this includes managing our outsourced IT provider.
Manage facilities and office operations, ensuring safe, secure, and effective working environments, including in high security areas.
Lead compliance and corporate risk management, ensuring adherence to regulatory, safeguarding, and governance requirements to ensure we are working in line with best practice and meeting the requirements of our contracts.
Oversee procurement and supplier management, ensuring value for money and strong supplier relationships.
Develop and implement policies, processes, and systems across the company, manage staff training, to make sure that we a compliant, safe, secure, resilient organisation.
Lead, mentor, and support teams, encouraging accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Senior leadership experience in corporate services, operations, or a similar role.
Experience managing multiple support functions (HR, IT, compliance, procurement, facilities) within complex organisations.
Experience in international development, government, nonprofit or regulated industries desirable.
Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks, and governance processes.
Ability to deliver operational efficiency and drive organisational change.
Skills & Attributes
