Purpose of the Role



The Head of Creative Development and Scheduling is responsible for leading and managing the creative and scheduling functions to ensure the timely and effective delivery of high-quality content across multiple platforms. This role combines leadership with strong operational management -- driving creativity, improving workflows, and ensuring that all content aligns with the client objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with deep experience in creative direction, project scheduling, and cross-team coordination.

The role will be based in our Leeds office, on Marshall Street

Hours Worked / Days:

Core hours - Mon-Fri 09:00 - 17:00

Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Team Management



Lead, inspire, and manage the Creative and Scheduling teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Provide clear direction, set team goals, and ensure alignment with company strategy and client needs. Oversee professional development, training, and recruitment to build a strong and versatile creative function. Conduct regular reviews to ensure productivity, quality, and adherence to deadlines.

Creative Development



Oversee the ideation, design, and production of creative content across digital, interactive, and internal channels. Ensure all creative outputs meet brand standards, deliver on strategic objectives, and engage target audiences. Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to develop innovative and impactful creative solutions. Lead creative reviews and sign-off processes to maintain consistency and quality across projects.

Scheduling & Resource Management



Manage all aspects of scheduling for internal and client projects, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and time. Develop, implement, and continuously improve scheduling systems, tools, and processes for efficient workflow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies. Monitor workload distribution and project capacity to ensure balanced and realistic schedules.

Process Improvement & Strategy



Review and refine creative development and scheduling processes to enhance collaboration and delivery efficiency. Contribute to the development of company-wide creative strategies and best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation and workflow automation. Ensure consistent communication and feedback loops between creative, scheduling, and senior management teams.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement



Act as a key point of contact for clients on creative and scheduling matters. Present creative concepts, project timelines, and performance updates to clients and senior stakeholders. Build strong relationships to ensure satisfaction, transparency, and long-term partnership success.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Proven creative direction and project oversight experience. In-depth understanding of production processes, content delivery, and scheduling tools. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Qualifications & Experience



Degree or equivalent experience in Creative Media, Marketing, Project Management, or related field. 3+ years' experience in creative management, production scheduling, or similar leadership roles. Proven track record in delivering creative projects from concept to completion within deadline and budget. Experience working in a fast-paced media, digital, or creative agency environment. Proficiency with creative and scheduling tools, also good working knowledge of Apple OS and Office 365 Application Suite.
