Briggs of Burton is on the hunt for a strategic, commercially driven, and hands-on Head of Customer Service & Support to lead the transformation and expansion of our customer support function.
This is your opportunity to build and shape a world-class service organisation, developing and delivering innovative support solutions across multiple sectors and global markets, including our international subsidiaries. You'll work at both a strategic and operational level, making a direct impact on customer experience, revenue, and business performance.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design & Deliver
a global Customer Service & Support framework covering spare parts, technical support, on-site service, and maintenance.
Develop and lead
high-performing service teams to deliver excellence across every customer touchpoint.
Drive revenue growth
by owning the Customer Service & Support P&L developing business cases, setting targets, and reporting on results.
Work cross-functionally
with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to deliver integrated, customer-focused services.
Lead customer success initiatives
, satisfaction reviews, and contract negotiations.
Develop global Service Centres
to support on-site servicing, inspections, and repairs.
Shape future solutions
through continuous improvement, customer feedback, and IT-driven enhancements.
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience building or leading service functions in a technical or industrial environment.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset able to operate at both the boardroom and frontline levels.
Strong commercial acumen comfortable with forecasting, budgeting, and revenue ownership.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with systems like SAP, CRM (e.g., HubSpot), and Microsoft Project.
A track record of managing and motivating multi-site or global teams.
Degree-level education in a relevant field; management training a plus.
