Job Description

We're a fast-growing SaaS company entering our next phase of scale--and we're hiring our first

Head of Data

to take full ownership of our data strategy from day one.

This is a rare greenfield opportunity for a senior data leader to build from the ground up. You'll define and deliver the data infrastructure, processes, and insights that will shape how we grow, make decisions, and serve our customers. You'll work cross-functionally with product, growth, and finance teams, and collaborate with specialist agencies as needed to scale efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:

Build the data function from scratch

--everything from architecture and tooling to analytics and governance Define our

data roadmap

aligned to business priorities (e.g. customer insights, product analytics, GTM performance) Work closely with

external data and engineering agencies

to accelerate delivery where required Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance) to create

self-serve analytics tools

and a data-informed culture Develop and maintain robust

data pipelines

, ensuring clean, timely, and accurate data across the business Own the setup and scalability of tools like

BigQuery, Looker, Segment, dbt, Snowflake, or similar

Define

key metrics, dashboards, and reporting

that support decision-making at board and team level
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a

Head of Data

, Lead Analyst, or similar senior data role in a

high-growth SaaS or tech business

Comfortable owning a

greenfield build

--you'll be laying the foundations, not inheriting a system Experience managing or collaborating with

data agencies, contractors, or third-party delivery teams

Deep knowledge of modern data stack tools (e.g. SQL, dbt, Fivetran, Snowflake, Looker, GA4) Strong communicator and stakeholder manager--able to translate technical insight into commercial value UK-based and able to work from our

London Canary Wharf office 2-3 days a week

Pay: 81,404.00-100,000.00 per year
