We're looking for a strategic and driven
Head of Debt Assist
to lead the delivery of our innovative Debt Assist solution. This is a high-impact role within our Debt Recovery Tower, where you'll shape service excellence, drive operational performance, and champion transformation across both local government and private sector markets.

Key Deliverables:
Lead the execution of the Debt Assist business plan
Deliver market-leading performance and achieve key profit, margin, and cash targets
Oversee operational strategy, risk, service development and transformation
Build, lead and develop a high-performing, engaged team
Drive growth through strong client relationships and commercial awareness
Ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery across all clients
Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and wider delivery functions
Manage third-party suppliers and operational governance
Corporate Responsibilities:

Management Corporate Responsibilities:
To manage the quality of team members' output to meet Liberata standards.
To ensure Liberata policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
To ensure Health & Safety procedures and awareness are maintained for the team you manage.
Data Protection: As a data protection representative, you and your teams are responsible for understanding how the UKDPA is relevant to your role and supporting your team with the management of data breaches and information requests such as Data Subjects' and Freedom of Information requests.
Business Continuity (BCP): As a Business Continuity Plan owner you are responsible for ensuring Business Impact Assessment is conducted across your area of responsibility and that your Business Continuity plan is tested regularly.
Business Continuity (BIA): As a Business Impact Assessment owner you are responsible for undertaking a Business Impact Assessment for your Team's activities and ensuring you identify all systems, resources, and information necessary to deliver your team activities on a day-to-day basis and under incident conditions.
Information Asset Owner: As an Information Asset representative, you and your teams are responsible for the safe use and management of information assets processed by Liberata and its suppliers, this will include understanding how and why information is processed and the security arrangements in place to protect the information assets from loss and harm.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
Proven service delivery leadership, ideally in an outsourced or commercial environment
Strong financial acumen and a track record of driving performance improvement
Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience in debt recovery or related sectors is highly desirable
Confident communicator with stakeholder and team leadership experience
