Head of Computing - Secondary School

Career Teachers are seeking an inspirational and forward-thinking Head of Computing to lead a thriving department at a secondary school in London.
Key Responsibilities include
Lead and manage the Computing department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
Develop and deliver an ambitious and engaging computing curriculum across Key Stages
Support and mentor staff, fostering continuous professional development
Use data and assessment to monitor pupil progress and implement effective interventions
Collaborate with senior leaders to drive whole-school priorities and raise attainment
Promote enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs, competitions, and digital projects
Ensure the integration of emerging technologies and digital literacy across the curriculum
What is required
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree in Computing or ICT
Proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes in Computing
Strong leadership skills and experience in curriculum development
A visionary approach to digital education and innovative pedagogy
