Salary: MPS/UPS incl. Fringe plus TLR2c
Our School
We are working with an Outstanding 11-18 co-educational academy who are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Music to lead a vibrant and ambitious department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and skilled educator to shape and develop the delivery of Music across all key stages, while playing a strategic role within the school community.
The music department is highly regarded in the school. With a set of rooms dedicated to music teaching, extra-curricular activities, and student practice, plus a specialist film studies suite (including a cinema) and a specialist theatre/drama studio with excellent resources. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to students creative development and to inspire their passion for the performing arts.
Qualities Required

Our client is looking for a passionate Teacher with solid subject expertise to join them on a permanent basis
The successful applicant will be able to teach Music up to KS5
You will design and deliver captivating lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students
Ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge
Manage colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methods
Participate in extracurricular activities to support student development
