This is an incredible opportunity to be a vital part of a market-leading fintech payments sales team; the fastest growing division within a Global Payments company.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Desk (Sales) to lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives focused on selling to financial institutions - PSPs and neo-banks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the FI/NBFI, FX and payments market, and the ability to drive team performance to achieve ambitious sales objectives.
Responsibilities
Management
Set the context
for your team members to perform by setting targets and KPIs that are effectively measurable and ensure the necessary support framework to perform is in place (tools, training, process documentation, structure etc).

Requirements
Experience in leading and developing high performance teams with the ability to inspire, motivate, and energise teams to achieve high performance within the foreign exchange (FX) or financial services industry.
Experience in selling to regulated financial institutions and has an understanding of the underlying regulation within the markets we operate.
Proven track record of developing new business and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Solid understanding of currency markets, hedging facilities, and international payments.
Ability to create context and clarity for team members and handle difficult conversations.
Ability to create a results-orientated environment where success is celebrated and rewarded appropriately.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Capability to analyse market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Adept at commercial modelling and analysis to support the value proposition of products.
