About the role Here at HEINEKEN, we know that evolving ways of working to maximise the advancement of online sales for our brands is super important, over 10% of our Off-Trade sales are done online! As the Head of Digital Commerce, you\xe2\x80\x99ll provide strategic direction, leadership and commercial management whilst leading a diverse team of commercial and digital colleagues to maximise the digital potential for HEINEKEN UK and our brands in the Off-Trade.
This role will be responsible for the Ecommerce Off-Trade Commercial delivery across our key customers as well as establishing and growing in emerging routes to market; driving the channel strategy across Bricks & Clicks, Pureplay, Quick Commerce & B2B. You\xe2\x80\x99ll champion best practice, build new capabilities and evolve new and innovative ways of working within the Off Trade. This is a high profile role that sits on our Off-Trade Leadership Team, reporting into the Off-Trade Director. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be encouraged to network with global colleagues and be visible in external digital forums to bring in new insights and ways of working.
So, what will you be doing? Here are some of the key accountabilities;

  • Provide leadership, development and coaching of aligned team members.
  • Responsible for delivering Heineken UK Ecommerce volume and revenues via the Ecommerce Commercial Plan.
  • Drive best in class shopping experiences online in partnership with customers.
  • Drive the performance marketing agenda within the business, focussing on continual improvements and champion a test & learn mindset.
  • Provide recommendations to the Global team on Ecommerce developments for other Heineken Operating Companies (OpCos).
  • Evolve best practices and synergies with the central team to ensure HUK takes advantage of global learnings.
Who we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an experienced leader who will support, coach and develop the existing talented ecommerce team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have knowledge of how ecommerce sites work, what it takes to win online and the ability to work and the ability to equip our border sales teams to maximise opportunities in Digital. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be agile, people driven and able to drive sustainable increases in Digital commerce.
If you have;
  • Previous successful delivery of Transformational programmes.
  • Experience in building technical and commercial capabilities.
  • History in ecommerce strategy and delivery.
  • Agency management experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to engage multiple senior stakeholders across the business and customers.
