As an employee-owned business, we are searching for a Head of Digital PR to lead and grow our Digital PR offering as we move into a new phase and have a share of future Success. We are looking for a talented, experienced, and aspiring PR Leader who wants to work with B2B and B2C clients, harnessing the best platform partners and tools.
A minimum of 4+ Years' experience in Digital PR or 2+ years in a similar role (in-house or agency)
Journalist background is a plus
A creative and analytical thinker with a proven track record of delivering effective results.
Experience using tools such as GA4, Ahrefs, Buzzsumo, and Response Source, or similar, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Be confident in communicating and presenting to clients and wider stakeholders - including pitches. ..
Be proactive in creating proposals for increased budget or innovation, linked to data, competitive insight, and growth.
Create varied styles of Digital PR campaigns (from Reactive to Fully Integrated) and stories, seeing these ideas through to execution, delivering coverage and links using KPI hierarchy
Researching, contacting, and building strong relationships with journalists, including creating strong media and outreach lists
Create and distribute effective press releases
Provide accurate and timely business and billing information for I-COM senior stakeholders when required.
Be the go-to expert for industry tools and developments, and ensure the team is certified and confident in the use of tools.
Review PR tools, usage, and fit - ahead of renewals, raising any cost increases.
Ensure client reporting is accurate, timely, and consistent, using dashboarding tools.
Ensure JIRA is as accurate as possible, capturing all time and value on behalf of a client.
Lead the team through regular communication and support. Ensure that each team member has an annual appraisal.
Be positive and inclusive, supporting the I-COM culture - lead by example
Think about ways your team can collaborate with other I-COM services, especially SEO and Content Marketing.
Be proactive in ways to grow your department - revenue and profitability.
Proactively contribute to thought leadership and marketing efforts.
