The Role:
This is unique role with a strong focus on websites, CMS, and consumer marketing tools. You will report into the Global Solutions Director and work closely with in-market stakeholders, global brand teams, and a dedicated digital development partner.
You'll be responsible for overseeing our core digital estate including brand websites (WordPress, Umbraco), our corporate site, and third-party tools such as BazaarVoice, BrandBank, and marketing automation platforms ensuring these technologies are strategically aligned with business goals and continuously optimised for performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Leadership & StrategyOwn the digital roadmap for our websites and related consumer digital platforms
Partner with Digital and Marketing leads in both global teams and the markets to understand local needs and ensure global solutions deliver value regionally
Collaborate closely with external development partners to drive efficiency
Project & Platform DeliveryLead the end-to-end delivery of website enhancements and new platform rollouts including scoping, requirements gathering, budgeting, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimisation
Work closely with our development partner to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and compliant solutions
Results & PerformanceMonitor platform performance through clearly defined KPIs such as site traffic, conversion rates, engagement metrics, and site health
Proven track record of implementing solutions that resulted in measurable impact, such as improved page speed, higher conversion, or increased engagement
TeamThe role will have 1 direct report
Operate within a matrix team structure, influencing across markets and functions
Work alongside colleagues in Procurement and IT to manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, SLAs, and strategic partnerships
Governance, Support & ComplianceEnsure web platforms meet industry best practices for accessibility (WCAG), consumer data protection (GDPR), and global security standards
Oversee support and maintenance of platforms, triaging issues, prioritising fixes, and ensuring high availability and performance
Maintain up-to-date documentation, including site maps, system architecture, and process documentation
Continuous Improvement & InnovationStay abreast of digital trends in the consumer and marketing technology space, with a focus on web usability, SEO, performance optimisation, and customer experience
Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, balancing quick wins with long-term platform evolution
