We are seeking a passionate and committed Head of Drama to lead our Drama provision, creating a rich and varied curriculum that builds confidence, creativity, and academic excellence.

What we are looking for:



A qualified teacher with experience teaching Drama in secondary education. A proven track record of raising standards of student attainment and achievement within a subject area. The ability to articulate departmental intent, ensure effective implementation, and evaluate its impact on students. Strong knowledge of successful teaching and learning strategies that meet the needs of all learners. The ability to develop effective, engaging schemes of work and assessments that ensure clear progression and prepare students for public examinations. Experience in using assessment data to monitor, evaluate, and drive student progress. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and develop staff within the department. A commitment to fostering aspiration, resilience, and responsibility in all students. The drive to ensure Drama plays a major part in the wider life of the school, including performances, trips, and enrichment opportunities.
