Head of Dynamics 365

to join our

The Head of D365 (Dynamics 365 Development) is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of Dynamics 365 solutions and teams within an organization. This role involves strategic planning, proven team leadership, and collaboration across various departments (technical and non-technical) to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of our Azure Dynamics 365 platform.
Key responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

: Develop and execute the strategic vision for Dynamics 365 solutions, aligning with business goals and objectives.

Team Management

: Lead and mentor a team of developers, architects, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Solution Design and Implementation

: Oversee the design and implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable.

Stakeholder Collaboration

: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Performance Optimization

: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Dynamics 365 applications.

Compliance and Security

: Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and security protocols.

Problem-Solving

: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge, skills and experience

Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the D365 platform, storage and licensing cost management and the Azure cloud
Experience of working with architects, working alongside engineering teams, solution & enterprise architecture
Experience of enterprise integration practices, data management, CI/CD, test automation and platform monitoring
Experience of technical authoring, developing and embedding coding standards, patterns and practices
Strong communicator with the ability to converse and translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiar with scaled agile delivery and CI/CD practices
Experience in general insurance or financial services is desirable but not essential
Ideally requires proven experience in Dynamics 365 development and implementation
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects or work-streams simultaneously
