The Role




We are now hiring a strategic and driven Head of E-Commerce to lead and grow our direct-to-consumer motorcycle accessories and merchandise business globally via the Shopify platform. The website will also serve as a gateway to redirect customers to authorised dealers for selected motorcycle accessories.

Duties/Responsibilities



E-commerce Strategy & Execution



Support and execute the e-commerce strategy for Norton Motorcycles' motorcycle accessories and merchandise business. Drive growth through effective merchandising, user journey optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration. Align with Marketing, Creative, Logistics, 3PLs, Digital & AI, Apparel Merchandising, and Motorcycle Accessories teams to deliver seamless digital operations.

Customer Experience & Content



Oversee the customer journey from landing page to post-purchase, ensuring a high-performing, brand-aligned experience. Manage content updates and new product uploads in partnership with a third-party content agency. Optimise website performance for speed, mobile, and SEO, and contribute to conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives.

Digital Trading & Marketing



Lead day-to-day site trading, product launches, promotional calendars, and onsite merchandising. Collaborate with the digital marketing team on campaigns across PPC, social, SEO, affiliates, and email.

Platform Operations & Tech



Work with development and operations teams to enhance Shopify functionality and integrate tools and third-party services. Coordinate with fulfilment providers, external vendors, and logistics partners to ensure operational efficiency.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting



Track and report on key e-commerce KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AOV, return rates, and engagement. Use insights to inform decision-making, refine digital performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Personal Specification



Minimum 3-5 years in a senior e-commerce role, ideally in premium lifestyle, automotive, fashion, or motorcycle accessories. Solid hands-on Shopify experience, including managing trading activity and third-party tools. Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Data-driven, with a proactive and agile mindset. Comfortable working across departments and with external agencies. A passion for motorcycles, lifestyle brands, or performance-driven products is a distinct advantage. Comfortable in a fast-paced, brand-led business and confident working cross-functionally with product, marketing, logistics, and digital teams Commercially aware, data-driven, and capable of translating insight into action. Familiar with global markets and motivated by building customer experiences that connect emotionally and perform commercially. Deep experience with Shopify and excited to build on a newly relaunched platform with a wider product range and international reach.
