We are looking for an inspiring leader of educational development and design, to drive forward staff development and curriculum enhancement at Middlesex University.
Overseeing teams of academic developers and learning designers, you will work across our four Faculties and three campuses (Hendon, Dubai and Mauritius) to develop staff capability, pedagogy and impact in educational design and delivery. Based in the Learning and Teaching directorate, you will evolve a business partnering relationship to enable successful collaboration between the Education Development team, academic teams and professional services, enhancing the whole student learning journey.
You will design and deliver a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) offer for academic and third space professions service colleagues, including leading flagship programs, including the Advance HE Fellowship scheme and the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCert HE).
Working with the Director of Learning and Teaching, you will shape and support the delivery of cross-university education enhancement projects and bring innovation to programme design and review.
We are looking for a candidate with outstanding collaborative skills, an excellent understanding of the Higher Education sector, policy and scholarship, and a track record of delivering impactful staff development and curriculum design outputs.
For an informal discussion of the role, please contact Professor Rafe Hallett, Director of Learning and Teaching, via email at r.hallett@mdx.ac.uk
