The Head of Engineering plays a pivotal role in helping ISS realise its ambition of becoming the world's greatest service organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) service delivery across a key account. You'll be joining a strong, collaborative team on a high-performing contract, with plenty of room to grow, shape the function, and make a lasting impact.





As Head of Engineering, you will be accountable for ensuring all engineering services are delivered in line with contract requirements, driving operational excellence, team engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities




Lead technical service delivery across multiple sites, ensuring compliance and high performance Build strong relationships with new and existing client stakeholders, acting as key technical contact Develop and support the engineering team and supervisors, fostering a high-performing culture Drive contract growth through project delivery opportunities and service enhancements Oversee asset lifecycle management and ensure effective PPM strategies are in place Lead pricing, supply chain assessments, and commercial input into technical proposals Provide strategic technical oversight across a varied estate, including a major smart building in Glasgow

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications




Proven experience in leading technical teams across multi-site operations Strong track record in team development and performance improvement Electrical bias preferred; mechanical background considered with solid electrical understanding Strong stakeholder management and client relationship-building skills Experienced in asset lifecycle planning, PPM strategy, and project delivery Commercially aware, with experience in pricing and supply chain assessment Excellent communication and leadership skills across varied technical environments
