UTC Oxfordshire is currently looking to appoint an additional innovative, dynamic and passionate teacher to lead and support innovation and develop English and Literacy within the UTC. The successful applicant will join the UTC as it grows and develops.
UTC Oxfordshire opened in September 2015 in Didcot. It will admit up to 600 Students aged 14 to 19 living in the catchment area. UTC specialises in science and engineering, alongside a broad and balanced curriculum. We benefit from the support of local employers and three leading universities who enrich and enhance our unique curriculum offer.
UTC Oxfordshire is centrally located with excellent transport links close by.

The successful candidate will need to:
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
Have excellent communication and leadership skills.
Be able to influence outcomes at all levels and deliver whole school CPD and professional development.
Introduce A level English to the curriculum.
Be able to influence outcomes at all levels and deliver whole school CPD and professional development.
Provide support to colleagues as part of our successful coaching program.
Demonstrated whole school impact in their current role which has a positive impact upon students' lives and destinations.

UTC Oxfordshire is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form, serving students from the age of 14-19. Situated in Harwell near Didcot the UTC has a maximum capacity of 600 students. It is part of the Active Learning Education Trust and works with industry partners: BMW Mini, UK Atomic Energy Authority, Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), RM Education, Reaction Engines and Bloodhound SSC and Academic Partners: Oxford Brookes University, Royal Holloway (University of London) and Reading University.
