Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance and Administration to join our team at Read Motor Group .
Following the group's recent expansion, you will review the internal processes to further develop the accounting function and assist Managers through effective financial reporting. In addition to overseeing the daily function of the accounts and administration team, you will complete an array of investigative tasks and projects.
You will take responsibility for the monthly and yearly financial reporting and develop your team across the accounting and administration function. Managing the month/ year end process, you shall manage the forecast and budgeting across the group, implement financial controls to manage cashflow, and streamline process.
Working closely with the Group Management team, you will have the opportunity to drive change by identifying and implementing both operational and policy improvements and ensuring that these are adopted as best practice.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all financial operations of the dealership.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Mentor and develop finance team members
Qualifications
Proven experience in finance management within the automotive or related industry.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and hands-on. You will be fully qualified in CIMA/ACA/ACCA and have demonstrable experience in a similar position.
