About the Department





The Finance department is responsible for all Regulatory and Statutory reporting to external parties as well as providing financial planning and business analysis to internal stakeholders. The Financial Control team sits within the Finance team and is responsible for all management accounting and control of cash in and out of the bank. The Finance department is a core support function within the bank and in addition to the regular duties team members will be expected to support adhoc requests from internal stakeholders including change projects.

Key Requirements





The Head of Finance Change will lead strategic transformation across our finance function. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring our finance systems, processes, and people are future-ready. You'll be the bridge between finance, technology, and business strategy; championing change and delivering measurable impact.



This role demands a forward-thinking leader who thrives in complexity, inspires cross-functional collaboration, working closely with the Group FC, CFO and senior stakeholders to shape the future of finance, building a function that's not just fit for purpose, but fit for the future.



Develop and execute a multi-year finance transformation roadmap aligned with business goals. Lead change initiatives across finance systems, reporting, controls, and compliance. Oversee large-scale finance change programmes, including ERP upgrades, automation, and process redesign. Ensure that small pain points are identified, tracked and remediated through the small change process Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with stakeholder buy-in. Collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, IT, HR, and Operations to align transformation efforts. Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders and the board. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and innovation

Key Skills & Experience





Proven experience leading finance transformation programmes in complex organisations. Strong understanding of finance operations, systems (e.g., Phoebus, Oracle, Workday), and regulatory frameworks. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cultural change. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred. Experience in change management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
