Head of Finance

to lead financial operations across our Cement & Packed Products (C&PP) division.


This pivotal role places you at the heart of our business, where you'll not only drive financial performance but also influence key decisions and support the execution of business strategy. You'll oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, control, compliance, and analysis. Also working closely with business and other finance functions to ensure clarification and understanding of business performance & consistent application of accounting policies and procedures.

As

Head of Finance,

you'll Be Responsible For:



Leading, developing and motivating the C&PP finance team. Delivering accurate and timely financial insights to drive decision-making. Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. Ensuring robust compliance with SOx, internal controls, and audit requirements. Partnering across commercial, operational and shared service teams to enhance business performance. Leading financial reporting to CRH and managing monthly/quarterly/annual submissions. Driving process improvements, systems enhancements, and operational efficiencies. Supporting key investment decisions, capex planning, and performance KPIs.

What You'll Bring:



A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with substantial post-qualification experience. A strong leadership track record in senior finance roles, ideally within large, complex environments. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to influence, challenge and drive strategy at senior levels. A high level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail. Willingness to travel as required.
