Salary range: \xc2\xa355,179 - \xc2\xa360,141

Type of contract: Permanent

Working hours: 35 hours

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for Head of Financial Business Partnering and Business Intelligence to join our team. This position is a new role based in the Finance Department and reporting to the Finance Director. As the Head of Financial Business Partnering, you will be the departmental lead for financial planning, budgets, financial reporting and modelling and you will manage the Finance Business Partnering Team. Your role will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop analytic insights to support our ambition to grow our income.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the business to develop accurate and timely financial plans and budgets.

Monthly and quarterly financial reporting including preparation of financial reports for the Finance and General Purposes Committee (F&GPC) and Board of Trustees.

Line management of the Finance Business Partnering Team.

Working across the business to develop and improve our data analytics.

About you

This position will suit a knowledgeable finance professional, with experience of Finance Business Partnering, looking for a leadership role within an ambitious and dynamic team committed to delivering a high quality customer focussed finance service for the College.

Qualified accountant - CCAB body qualification i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent accounting qualification.

An understanding of the accounting rules for Charity Accounts (FRS102).

Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office and exposure to a range of financial accounting packages.

Solid experience of preparing management accounts and financial reports.

Experience within a leadership/management role in finance.
