The Head of FP&A role is a hybrid position with a mix of 2/3 days a week to be based from our Head Office in Hull and home working.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies to support the organisation's overall strategic business objectives
Actively seeking to improve the financial understanding of the business through training, presence within departments and being seen to support and drive key initiatives
Owning, developing and managing annual budgeting and forecasting processes, integrating with S&OP
Clear, concise reporting to the leadership team and Board providing value adding insight
Managing financial risks and opportunities and out-turn for the year
Supporting the Board in target setting, aligning to strategy
Implementing and managing longer term strategic planning to support growth ambitions
Ensuring that transformation initiatives are underpinned with robust tracking and appropriate accountability, identifying actions to be taken as appropriate to deliver the benefits
Developing and implementing systems solutions to maximise efficiencies for budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Managing monthly business performance review and reporting cycle
Ensuring alignment of data, systems and reports between functions - gatekeeper of 'one version of the truth'

The ideal Head of FP&A will be/have:
Qualified Accountant with several years FP&A experience, preferably in a multi-SKU product environment
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive improvements
Experience of developing reporting and analysis
Ability to challenge assumptions and the status quo
Ability to demonstrate judgement, drive, visibility, impact and influence across the business, specifically with the leadership team and senior managers
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of business strategy, structure, systems, processes and people - able to understand the drivers of a business and how to impact them
Ability to work as a team and deliver to tight deadlines
Good knowledge of macroeconomic factors and how they affect business
