We are looking for a Head of FP&A to join the Finance team, to be based in Edinburgh or London. This role reports directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and grow the FP&A function

, developing processes, systems, and reporting structures that leverage technology to reflect industry leading practices and align with private equity expectations. Conduct a

thorough review of financial performance

to understand drivers, enhance visibility and influence informed decision-making across all four reporting segments. Develop and track

key performance indicators (KPIs)

to support the company's ambitious product and market growth strategy.

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

, ensuring robust financial planning across the business. Work closely with

senior leadership, segment and functional leaders

to provide financial insight and commercial analysis.

Leverage data analytics

to drive performance tracking, profitability analysis, and business case evaluations for new initiatives.

Support M&A activity

by assessing financial performance, analysing synergy opportunities and integrating acquisitions.

Leverage Artificial Intelligence

to improve reporting and analysis across the business.

The Requirements



A qualified finance professional (

ACA, ACCA, CIMA

) with demonstrable FP&A leadership experience.

Proven track record of building or scaling an FP&A function

, ideally within a

Private Equity-backed business

. Strong

budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis

expertise, with an ability to drive data-led decision-making. Experience working with

large data sets

and financial modelling tools - exposure to data analytics platforms is advantageous. A

leadership mentality

, with experience in team management or function-building.

SaaS or recurring revenue model experience is highly desirable.

Ability to

partner with key stakeholders

across finance, operations, and senior leadership, acting as a bridge between finance and commercial decision-makers.

Intellectual curiosity

and desire to understand and explain business drivers to internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to synthesize complex issues

into easily understood key drivers.
