Key Duties
To inspire, lead, manage and develop the teaching staff within the department
To ensure the excellent delivery of the Geography curriculum
To be accountable for raising standards of pupil achievement within the department and to monitor and support pupil progress
To develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences to all students
To set high expectations for all pupils, to deepen their knowledge and understanding and to maximise their achievement.
To assess pupils' work systematically and use the results to inform future planning, teaching, and curricular development.
To prepare pupils for academic success and inspire a love of learning that goes beyond examinations.
