Job Description

This is a key role within the CDE CustomCare Senior team, and the post holder will report to the Director/Head of CustomCare and will work closely with the other department heads to ensure the success of CustomCare (CC).



The Global Support function exists to provide technical support to the CustomCare teams globally. This support can range from process / plant optimisation through to upgrade design and installation. At the heart of the role lies CDE's data driven philosophy.



The post holder will be required not only to lead a team of technically competent engineers and support staff but to also champion CDE SmartTech and provide strong input into its future development. This post holder will also be responsible for training and information sharing within CustomCare.



This person will have both a proven technical and leadership track record and a history showing willingness to learn and develop both themselves and their teams. The ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally is key to success in this position.

About The Role



Responsibilities





Act as the figure head for the Global Support function and manage the various teams that sit within that function, these include (but not limited to). + Global Support Engineers
+ CC Design and Project Team
+ CDE SmartTech
+ CC Training and Helpdesk
Help drive aftersales globally, building and maintaining relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Travelling to the regions regularly to support customers at key touchpoints in their CDE journey. Provide a high level of technical and process support for the CDE CustomCare teams. Ensuring continued learning and development of these teams. Spearhead the development of and further use of the CDE SmartTech systems. Ensuring that CDE stays at the forefront of this technology, and that the systems provide a commercial benefit to CDE. Coaching and mentoring other engineers to develop their skills, continuous monitoring of competences Work as a key part of CDE's CustomCare management team, providing support and guidance to the other senior members. Ensure CDE policies and procedures are implemented throughout the teams.
